Charley Joe Prewitt

Charley Joe Prewitt was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on January 17, 1936 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Charley was the son of Earnest L. and Liddie (Gaylor) Prewitt. He was a resident of Stroud most of his life. Charley was of undenominational faith and worked as a pipe insulator. He married Joyce Scott on May 7, 1965. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jimmy, four brothers and one sister one granddaughter, Nikki Prewitt Sporeleader. Survivors include, wife Joyce of the home, one son and daughter in law, Charley 'Joey' and Connie Prewitt of Stroud, one daughter, Janie Neatherlin of Odessa, TX., four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Service are pending with Parks Brothers Funeral Home Stroud, OK. In Lieu of flowers make donation to the Stroud Food Pantry, Stroud, OK.
