Charles William Webb, Sr.

Charles William Webb Sr. was born in Arlington, Oklahoma on October 24, 1940. He went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2022 at the age of 81. Charles was the son of Everett and Jewel (Hildreth) Webb. Charles worked hard from a very young age, helping to support his family. He worked for many years in the oil and gas business then began his career in construction. He has built houses from the ground up and recently had done lots of remodeling. He met a young lady at the Skate Key in Stroud by the name of Donna Carney and married her on December 5, 1975. He was also a member of the Chapel of Faith in Stroud. All who knew Charles considered him kind, gentle, and loving. He always had a smile on his face and wanted nothing but the best for others. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and really anything that involved working with his hands. He was a sentimental man who loved his family. He left a mark on the heart of anyone he met, and he is already deeply missed. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Jewel Webb; daughter Dewella Webb; brother Everett Webb Jr; and sisters Wanda Montgomery, Barbara Davis, and Kathy Jacobs. Charles is survived by his wife of 47 years Donna Webb; son Charles Webb Jr and wife Annette and son Jason Webb; brother Gene Webb; sister Pat Booze and husband Ray Kent and sister Effie Salsmen; grandchildren Fhonda Webb, Charley Webb III and wife Katy; Everett Webb III and wife Jessica and Kyler Webb; great grandchildren Madison, Dallas, Mackenzie, Daphne, Mylee, Kaci, Evan, Skylee, Dustyn and Braylee; also a host of extended family and friends. The funeral service will be held at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in the Stroud Cemetery.
