Charles Wayne Decker

Charles Wayne Decker was born on November 13, 1933, in Sparks Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 10, 2011, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 78. Charles, the son of Charles and Bonnie Mae (Cunningham) Decker, was a resident of Meeker. Charles married Pat Mendoza on November 30, 1972. When he wasn't working at Tinker as an aircraft mechanic Charles worked several other jobs never allowing for idle time. He was a proud member of the Meeker Assembly of God church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Lesley Wayne Decker; his sister, Iola Gatlin; and a brother, Cecil Decker. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Pat Decker of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and John Woodberry of Mary Esther Florida, Debbie and Ron Reedy of Chandler; sons and daughters-in-law, Jorge and Justine Rodriguez, Bacilio and Amber Rodriguez, Michael and Shelly Decker, Miguel Rodriguez; grandchildren, Meagan Woodberry, Benjamin Woodberry, Miguel Rodriguez and wife Tara, Jeffrey Rodriguez and wife Nicole, Buddy Coker II and wife Amy, Nicole Rodriguez, Kurtis Coker, Dalton Rodriguez, Alyssa Dobbins, Michael Munson, Michael McCullar and wife, Bradley and Christal, Jarrod and his wife and Randy Raye; 13 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Dorena and Francis Swearengin of Midwest City; brother, Melvin Decker of Edmond. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 10:00, at First Assembly of God in Meeker with Rev. Charles Pearcy officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
