Charles Robert Towler

Charles Robert Towler, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on November 21, 1919, in Pryor, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 20, 2008, at his home at the age of 88 years. Charles was the son of Bennie R. and Goldie P. Holt Towler. He married Faye Lynch on January 17, 1940 in Chandler. Charles worked as a mechanic and was a long time member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge. His parents, four brothers and one sister preceded Charles in death. Survivors include, Wife of 68 years, Faye of the home, Sons, Robert Towler of Dallas, TX, Charles Towler of Chandler, OK, Tom Towler of Piedmont, OK, Daughters, Edna Melson of Chandler, OK, Linda Fox of Chandler, OK, Susan Towler of Chandler, OK, Brothers, Bob Towler of Seneca, MS, Paul Towler of Asher, OK, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandchild. Other relatives and many friends Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 22, 2008, at Rossville Cemetery in Wellston, Oklahoma, with the Bristow, Oklahoma, I.O.O.F. Lodge officiating. Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
