Charles Raymond Middleton

Charles Raymond 'Sam' Middleton was born on June 7, 1934, in Seminole County, Oklahoma and departed this life on Saturday, January 12, 2008, at his home in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 73. Raymond, the son of Herbert Elmer and Donnis Marie Burkhalter Middleton, had been a resident of the Prague area most of his life. He was married to Barbara Jane Johnson on March 24, 1954 and she preceded him in death on January 1, 2000. He was a retired machinist and mechanic. He was also preceded in death by parents, three brothers and three sisters. Raymond was a Veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Johnny & Betty Middleton, Macomb, OK, Raymond Gene & Vickey Middleton, Paden, OK; one daughter and son in law, Darla Jane and Joe Dugger, Texas; one brother, Kenneth Middleton, Bethany, OK; 6 great grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
