Charles Lafaye Vernon

Charles LaFaye Vernon was born on May 1, 1935, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and departed this life on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. Charles, the son of Charles Waco and Ida Maye Wendland Vernon, was a resident of Sparks. He worked in the oilfields as a pipeliner. His parents preceded Charles in death. Survivors include sons, Waco Vernon of Arkansas, Gregory Vernon of Sacramento, California, Dennis Vernon of Citrus Heights, California, Charley Vernon of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Michael Vernon of Sacramento, California; daughters, Joni Vernon of Arkansas; Christie Dunbar of Sacramento, California; brother, Bill Vernon of Sparks, Oklahoma; sister, Maye Vaughn of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; and 11 Grandchildren.
