Charles James Mckee, Sr.

Charles James McKee, Sr., was born on November 9, 1938, in Macomb, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. Charles, the son of Herschel James and Sylvia Agnes (Brimm) McKee, was a resident of Prague. He married Dorothy Marie Burke on May 17, 1957 in Woodland, California. He retired from Hunt Wesson Foods were he was a seamer mechanic. His parents; one sister, Lucille McKee; and one great grandchild, Shelby Keiper, preceded Charles in death. Survivors include wife, Dorothy Marie McKee of Prague; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles, Jr., and Renee McKee of Cromwell, Scott and Kay McKee of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Stoney Gottfried of Tryon, Tina and William Jackson of Burkburnett, Texas; grandchildren, Travis, Brittney, and Chad Gottfried, Jacob and Heather Meshew, Kyle and Kalie Jackson, Shane and Mandy Keiper; great grandchildren, Kalyn and Kelton McKee, Scotlyn and Ryker Meshew, Tanner Gottfried, Dakota, Katie and Madison Keiper, Shane, Jr., and Aiden Keiper; sister, Lois Butler of Shawnee; brother, Billy McKee of Prague.
