Charles Cleo Quinn was born on June 14, 1944 in Oakland, CA and departed this life on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 75. Charles (Charlie) C. Quinn was born to Troy Cleo Quinn and Stella Marie (Searcy) Quinn. He was a resident of Stroud most of his life. Charlie met his wife Linda (Grammar) in Stroud, OK and they shared one of their first dates at the Rock Café. They later married on March 6, 1963 and had 56 wonderful years of marriage together. Charles proudly served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1966 where he was member of the 85th Ordnance in Vietnam during 1965 & 1966. He was a member of the American Legion and The Veterans of Foreign Wars. Charles was well known for his mechanic skills and love to buy, sell and trade items from auctions and fix them up. He was proud of his antique and junk collection (the gold mine) he was leaving his sons. His biggest pride and joy were his family. He loved spending time with them, and was the one they all knew they could depend on when needed. Charles was preceded in death by his parents. Charles is survived by his wife Linda of the home in Stroud, OK two sons Charles D Quinn and wife Sherri of Stroud, OK. Douglas G Quinn and wife Tricia of Catoosa, OK. Two brothers Vernon Quinn and David Quinn of Stroud, OK. Seven grandchildren Brandon Quinn, Kimberly Aguero, Brandie Sue Quinn, Douglas A Quinn, Lacey Davis, Christopher Council, Cody Council, 14 great grand-children, many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud, OK with Pastor Mike Haines officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud, OK.
