Charles Joe 'Charlie' Patterson, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma resident was born July, 6, 1941, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life on March 25, 2018, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years. Charlie was the son of Joseph and Una (Evans) Patterson. He married Robin Ann Van Dyke on April 9, 1993, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Charlie worked as a carpenter for many years. Charlie's hobbies included building dune buggies, going to the Little Sahara State Park, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. His parents, Joe and Una; wife, Robin; and one son, Charles Lee; and two brothers; preceded Charlie in death. Survivors include three daughters, Angela Lewis and husband Jimmy of Ulysses, Kansas, Kim Schevetto and husband Terry of Chandler, and Dezarae Patterson of Chandler; one son, Will Foster and wife Jessica of Perkins, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Edna Patterson of Wewoka, Oklahoma, and Sherry Patterson of Chandler; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dennis and April Gambrell of McLoud, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, C'Anne, Zachary, Taylor, Evan, Amiaya, and Jozlyn; seven great-grandchildren, Alexyss, Kaybree, Gideon, Bentlee, August, Baylor, and Lincoln; special friend, Dan Robinette; other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, with Rev. Cary Monaco officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
