Charlene Pratka Cox

Charlene Pratka (Tower) Cox was born on December 2, 1933, in Wilzetta, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, December 12, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Charlene, the daughter of Charlie Edward and Maggie Jane (Sturmon) Tower, was a resident of Prague. She married Johnny Augustine Pratka on November 10, 1950 in Prague. Johnny preceded Charlene in death on February 22, 1987. Charlene was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague. Her parents; two sisters; Thelma and Vera; and one brother, Troy, also preceded Charlene in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jenny Pratka of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Jonna and Richard Opela of Prague, Margaret and Tommy Freeze of Prague; grandchildren, Jimmy and Tracy Opela, Misty and Greg Pollard, Josh and Carrie Pratka, Marria and Doug Brydon, Travis and Brooke Freeze, Nick and Amber Freeze, Jason and Angie Winchester, Robert and Kyla Winchester; great-grandchildren, J.C., Samantha, Julie, Courtney, Tandra, Miranda, Mackenzie, Gestin, Carter, Gavin, Sydney, Tim, Anna. Charlene’s family will receive friends on Monday, December 14, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
