C.B. Jarvis, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident for the past 28 years, was born on August 1, 1929, in Gould, Oklahoma, and departed this life on February 20, 2005, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years. C.B. was the son of Louis Richard and Lois Ann Brown Jarvis. He married Nancy Craft on June 21, 1954, Stillwater, Oklahoma. C.B. served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1958 and started pastoring. C.B. retired from the ministry and later retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the America Legion, VFW, Broken Arrow Sams Club, Escapes RV Club, and the First Church of the Nazarene in Shawnee, Oklahoma. His parents; one son: Mark Randall Jarvis; eight brothers; and six sisters preceded C.B. in death. Survivors include: Wife: Nancy of the home; Three sons & daughters-in-law: Wayne & Mary Jarvis of Gainesville, TX; Phillip & Tonya Jarvis of Chandler, OK; Gary Jarvis of Chandler, OK; Two daughters & sons-in-law: Camilla & Todd Westfall of Chandler, OK; Diana & Gerald Luschen of Chandler, OK; Two sisters: Frances Sinclair of Mt. Ida, AR; Jerry Downing of Davis, OK; 15 grandchildren; Other relatives and many friends
