Cassie Laverne Morgan

Cassie Laverne Morgan was born on June 4, 1924, in McAlester, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, October 11, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. Cassie, the daughter of Lee Rome and Icy Minerva White Williams, was a resident of Prague. She was a homemaker, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a 70-year member of the Church of Christ. Cassie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rowland W. Green; and one sister, LeeElla Barnett. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Cyrus Lee and Connie Green of Lawton, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Delaine and Fred Baker of Prague, OK, Delores and Carrol Suson of Walters, OK; grandchildren, Robyn Gillispie and her husband Shon, Brent, Brad, and Ryan Baker, Carl Springer and his wife Rhonda, Brian Green and his wife Jessica, Robert Green, Nancy Hardage and her husband Wayne; and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Lonnie Hutton officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester, Oklahoma at 2:30 PM. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
