Carolyn Sue Munjoy

Carolyn Sue Munjoy of Chandler, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 in Edmond, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years. Carolyn Sue Munjoy was born in Oklahoma City, on January 1, 1948. She was the daughter of Cleburn Ray Dunn and Mary Susan (Talley) Holliday. She grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma attending Capitol Hill Public Schools. In 1976, she moved to Chandler, Oklahoma. She furthered her education attending Charles School of Cosmetology. Following her education, she began working as a cosmetologist at Beauty Corral in Chandler and later owned her own salon, “A Cut Above”. In the late 90’s she moved to Oklahoma City to care for her mother. In the fall of 2017, she moved back to Chandler to be near her daughters. She was a member of Chandler Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a master gardener, painting, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one son Paul Munjoy and wife Tracey of Atlanta, Texas; two daughters, Angela Lee and husband Tony of Chandler, and Christina Wayland and husband Billy of Chandler; nine grandchildren, Kyle Wayland and wife Sarah, Caleb Lee and wife Kelly, Ashlee Munjoy and husband Chad, Davin Perkins and wife Brandie, Jessica Munjoy, Levi Lee, Jocelynne Wayland and fiancé Clay Pavlicek, Jaedyn Wayland, and Jordyn Wayland; and eleven great grandchildren.
