Carolyn Jean Ross

Carolyn Jean Ross, age 67, of Harrah, OK, was born October 24, 1946, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of Martin & Sophie (Atamanczyk) Kupczynski. She left this life on Thursday, March 27, 2014, in Midwest City, OK. Carolyn was a mechanic at Tinker AFB, retiring after 32 years. She loved to sew, going to quilt shows, garage sales and wineries and spending time with her many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Nicholas Treadwell, 3 brothers, Johnnie, Mike & Frankie and sister, Martha. Survivors include her 2 daughters & son-in-law, Melanie & Chad James, Blanchard, OK, Kathy Hyams, Oklahoma City, OK; son, David Hyams, Jr., Harrah, OK; 4 sisters & brother-in-law, Rosalie Stamper, Harrah, OK, Vicky & Tommy Hyams, Sapulpa, OK, Louise Burghart, Harrah, OK, Mary Willis, Choctaw, OK; 9 grandchildren, Lindsey, Mack, Gary, Candace, Rachel, Stephanie, Shelby & David, III; 6 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and many special friends. Rosary and Wake will be 6:45 PM, Monday, March 31, 2014, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Prakash Madineni officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
