Carolyn Elizabeth Leeson

Carolyn Elizabeth Leeson was born on March 31, 1941, in Ontonagon, Michigan, and departed this life on Thursday, June 10, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Carolyn, the daughter of Paul Armas and Myrtle Elizabeth (Aho) Kettunen, was a resident of Prague. She married Paul Henry Leeson on October 5, 1964 in St. Joseph, MO. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1998. Carolyn was a cook at the Fillin’Station and attended the Prague United Methodist Church. Her parents; two step-sons, Terry and Richard Leeson; and sister, Judith Haynes, also preceded Carolyn in death. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey Leeson of Summerville, SC, Scott Leeson of Oklahoma City, OK, Andrew and Janice Leeson of Prague; step-sons and their wives,Sam Leeson of Waldorf, MD, John and Alice Leeson of Waldorf, MD, Gary and Debra Leeson of Cashion, OK, Ernest Leeson of Texas, Billy Leeson of San Diego, CA; daughters and son-in-law, Lori Kilgo of Shawnee, Robin and Jesse Gooden of Guthrie; brother, Dale Kettunen of Ontonagon, MI; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelly Cunningham of Fayette, AL; Cindy and John Taravella of CO, Sharon Pitt of Euless, TX, Barbara and Dave Rebo of Ontonagan, MI, Paula and Glen Brauer of Prague; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchild and many friends. A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM, at the Paden Cemetery in Paden with Rev. Scott Keneda officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
