Carolyn "Dianne" Kerby

December 22, 1946 — June 27, 2021

Carolyn "Dianne" Kerby surrounded by family took God's hand and reunited with husband of 56 yrs on June 27th, 2021. Dianne was born to Billy Joe and Hazel Lauryne Hensley on December 22nd 1946. Dianne graduated from Eisenhower High School in Lawton and went on to graduate beauty school. Dianne enjoyed watching all Sooners sports but her favorite to watch was softball. Dianne was a longtime member of the Prague First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Dianne and Jim married on June 26th 1965, and they had two sons. Together, Dianne and Jim bred and raised over 13 different breeds of dog. Dianne loved all animals; however, there was a special place in her heart for her English Bulldogs. Dianne is survived by her son, Skyler and his wife Sandy of Anahuac, Texas, her son Chad and his wife Venita of Stroud; grandchildren Kelby and his wife Kimberly, Abby, Wyatt, Cody, and Tyler; great-grandchildren Hunter, Karsyn, Layton, and Gracie; brother Billy Joe Hensley II and his wife Sue, brother Danny Hensley and his wife Amanda as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Additionally, she is survived by her dearest friends' Susie Smith, Sue Farmer, and Shirly Redeker. Dianne is preceded in death by her husband, Jim, and her parents. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Dianne's honor the First Baptist Church of Prague. A private burial will be held at Prague Cemetery and a memorial service will be held in the near future.
