Carolene Mary Milburn

Carolene Mary Milburn, Chandler OK, resident was born on June 1, 1934, in Shattuck, OK, and departed this life Thursday, October 3, 2013, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 79 years. Carolene was the daughter of Charles Wesley and Nola Neveda (German) Light. She married Virgil Eugene Milburn on November 20, 1951. Carolene was a long-time pastors wife and homemaker. Her parents, husband, one sister, and one great-grandson, preceded Carolene in death. Survivors include, two sons, Carroll G. Milburn of Chandler, and Wesley Milburn of Chandler, two daughters, Neveda Wayland of Greenwood, MO, and Cheryl Davis of Lees Summit, MO, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 7, 2013, at the First Assembly of God Church in Carney, with Dwain Young officiating. Burial will follow at Carney Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
