Carlos Dean Morris

Carlos Dean Morris passed away early Sunday morning, March 23, 2008, in an Oklahoma City hospital. Dean was born on July 14, 1945 in Seminole to Harmon D. Morris and Martha F. Morris. He attended Shawnee High School and served in the United States Army. Dean married Beverly Ann Lynch on March 5, 1999. He enjoyed camping, fishing, drafting, and woodworking and will be missed by many. Dean was preceded in death by his father, Harmon D. Morris; two brothers, Donavan Franklin and DeWayne Franklin. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Morris of the home; his mother, Martha Morris of Shawnee; four sons, Michael Morris, DeWayne Morris, Carlos 'Skippy' Morris, all of Illinois, Gene Morris of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Michelle Morris of Illinois, Shanna Morris of Oklahoma City, Debbie Watkins of Shawnee; two brothers, Charlie 'Bo' Franklin and his wife Lolly, Gary Franklin; two sisters, Sharon Bowden and her husband Larry, Paula Long and her husband Calvin; and 15 grandchildren.
