Carl W. Mcglocklin, Sr.

Carl W. McGlocklin, Sr., age 79, of Harrah, OK, was born on March 10, 1931, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the son of Raymond & Opal (Hamilton) McGlocklin. He left this life on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, in Midwest City, OK. Carl graduated from Harrah High School. He retired from Tinker AFB where he worked in the transportation department. Carl enjoyed fishing and going to flea markets. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty, 2 brothers, Dean and Raymond, daughter-in-law, Ruby and 2 step-grandchildren. Survivors include his son, Carl W. McGlocklin, Jr., Midwest City, OK; sister & brother-in-law, Dolores & Bill Knox, Harrah, OK; aunt, Mildred Hamilton, Redlands, CA; sister-in-law, Dolores McGlocklin, San Antonio, TX; 1 step-granddaughter; 2 step-great-grandchildren; his best friend, Parker, the dog and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
