Carl Robertson

Carl Robertson was born in Stroud, OK on Wednesday, January 18, 1933 and went to his Heavenly home on Monday, December 18, 2023 at the age of 90.

Carl was the son of Ira and Ella (Wilson) Robertson. At the age of 17, Carl went to Korea and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Carl married Evelyn Sanders in Welling, OK on March 29, 1962. Carl was a Stroud resident since 1993 and lived in Depew, OK for 28 years prior to that. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Depew, OK as well as member of Stroud’s American Legion. Carl worked in the aerospace industry for 29 years for MCDonnell Douglas in aircraft assembly. Carl was an avid OU Sooners fan, if he wasn’t watching the Sooners he could be found reading or watching westerns. Carl was a God-fearing man who loved to tell his family and friends about Jesus. He was a great dad and grandpa who will be dearly missed.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn; his parents, one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include son Glen Robertson and wife Lisa of Stroud; daughter LaDonna Czarnecki and husband David of Lewisville, TX; daughter Letha Robertson of Chandler; brother Merle Roberston and wife Bonnie of Depew, OK; four grandchildren Lacrisha Dudley, Kristen Mayberry, Marshall Robertson, and Brittany Collado, seven great grandchildren and many extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Depew on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor James Lame officiating with burial to follow at the Stroud Cemetery.
