Carl James Varner

Carl Varner, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on February 15, 1945, in Talala, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 29, 2008, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years. Carl was the son of Cecil and Mildred Margaret Horner Varner. He graduated from Chandler High School in 1963. Carl married Joyce Loveless in Amarillo, Texas, on April 20, 1979. He owned and operated City and Country Exterminating Service in Chandler for many years. Carl was a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church in Warwick Oklahoma. His parents preceded Carl in death. Survivors include, Wife, Joyce Varner of Chandler, OK, Three sons, Jamie Varner of Binger, OK, Rick Varner of Juneau, AK, Chad Varner of Chandler, OK, Two daughters, Nicki Hocking of Battleground, IN, Lisa Pinkston of Austin, TX, Three brothers, Tom Varner of Okla. City, OK, Jackie Stewart of Chandler, OK, Jessie Stewart of Chandler, OK, One sister, Jane Vandegriff of Okla. City, OK, Ten Grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Jim Morningstar officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
