Bryan G. Shetley

Bryan Gayle Shetley, age 62, of Harrah, OK, was born on January 1, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Albert Alvin & Corrine (Sossamon) Shetley. Bryan went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Harrah, OK. Bryan graduated from Spencer High School in 1969. He worked as a sprinkler fitter and was a 10 year member of Local 669 Sprinkler Fitters Union. He also worked 24 years as a mobile home transporter until his retirement. Bryan and Marsha had a unique marriage, being married twice to each other for a total of 30 years. Shortly after a successful kidney transplant in 2009, he developed aplastic anemia, which ended the pursuit of his favorite past times with his friends and family, such as hunting, camping, garage sales and antique gathering. Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, one brother, Charles Shetley and nephew, Gary Shetley. Survivors include his wife, Marsha Colvin Shetley, Harrah, OK; parents,Albert & Corrine Shetley, Harrah, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Amy & Jeff Heskett, Crescent, OK; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Chris & Devin Shetley, Tuttle, OK, Cory & Maria Shetley, Guthrie, OK; 7 grandchildren, Chase, Carson & Callie Heskett, Gage & Sydney Shetley, Cailey & Gracie Shetley, his special buddies, Cody Q & Parker T, many other relatives and an amazing number of friends that loved him. Services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will be 12:00 PM at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
