Bruce Olen Anderson

Bruce Olen Anderson, age 80, of Harrah, OK, was born on February 13, 1931, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was the son of Keith Alexander & Opal Belle (Ives) Anderson. He left this life on Sunday, May 8, 2011, in Norman, OK. Bruce proudly served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Mary Ann Dolezal on August 25, 1951, in Stillwater, OK. Bruce received an electrical engineering degree from Oklahoma A&M/OSU. He worked for the Federal Civil Service as an electrical engineer. Bruce was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, McLoud, OK. He enjoyed electronics, astronomy and reading. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, John Edward Anderson & Steven Olen Anderson, one daughter, Cheryl Ann Anderson, one brother, Paul and one sister, Linda Parsons. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Anderson, Harrah, OK; 3 sons & daughter-in-law, Kevin S. Anderson, Harrah, OK, Philip M. Anderson, Norman, OK, Steven J. & Lisa Anderson, New Jersey; 2 brothers, David Anderson, Rex Anderson and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 13, 2011, at Hillside Baptist Church, McLoud, OK, with Pastor Tuney Ropp officiating. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
