Bruce Eldon Huff

Bruce Eldon Huff was born on October 4, 1933, in Sparks, and departed this life on Thursday, June 1, 2017, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. Bruce, the son of George Washington and Blanche (Litle) Huff, was a lifelong resident of Prague. He was a 1951 graduate of Davenport High School. Bruce served in the United States Army. He married Doris Jones on July 22, 1995. Bruce was a member of the United Methodist Church of Prague. He was a retired firefighter with Prague Fire Department and also worked in construction. Bruce enjoyed ranching, gardening and traveling. He was a passionate hunter and fisherman. Bruce’s parents, four sisters, three brothers and one granddaughter preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Doris Huff; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lupe Barrett of Durango, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Rowena and John Parker of Prague; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Denise Huff of Cushing; sister, Mary Porter of Altus; sister-in-law,Phyllis Huff of Prague; grandchildren, Sherri Barrett, Summer Ackerman, and Chelsea Lechner; great grandchildren, Rylie Lechner and Ember Lechner and many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Dr. Sonja Tobey officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
