Bruce C. Snell

Bruce Charles Snell was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 27, 1947 and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the age of 69 years. Bruce was the son of Walter Robert and Frankie Cora (Hensley) Snell. He was a resident of Stroud since 1980. Bruce was in the United States Air Force, where he served in Vietnam Era. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud and retired from Spec Building Material Corp. in Oklahoma City. He married Susan Eaves in Corona, CA on August 12, 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, wife, Susan of the home, one son and daughter in law, Brian and Bethan Snell of Edmond, one sister and brother in law, Becky and Mike McGuigan of Simi Valley, CA., one sister in law and brother in law, Leslie and Mike Alfano of Stroud, one brother in law and sister in law, Phillip and Sally Eaves of Oregon, four grandchildren, Matthew Snell, Brandon Snell, Ashley Langlois and Aimee Langlois, four nieces, Erin, Kylie, Robin and Kelly, three nephews, Kevin, Conner, and Cole, other relatives and friends. Memorial will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud, on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.with Pastor Paul Ragle officiating. Burial will be in the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at a later date. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
