Bruce Avilla

Bruce Charles Avilla, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born May 25, 1950, in Santa Rosa, California, and departed this life on May 23, 2017, at his home in Chandler, at the age of 66 years. Bruce was the son Dorothy (Stinnett) Avilla. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, having been awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained. Bruce worked for J&M Tree Service for many years, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. His parents; son, Daniel Paul Avilla; and aunt, Rena Hudson; preceded Bruce in death. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Dawn and Paul Gregory of Chandler, Oklahoma, and Crystal Avilla of McLoud, Oklahoma; one son, Jonathan Avilla; two grandchildren, Daniel and Crystal Gregory of Chandler; other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
