Bridget Louise Cedartree Ellis

Bridget Louise Cedartree Ellis was born on July 24, 1954, in Talihina, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, May 4, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 54. Bridget, the daughter of Edward and Katherine Yarbrough Cedartree, Sr. She was a resident of Prague, Oklahoma and was a homemaker. She married Melvin 'Butch' Gene Ellis who preceded her in death on October 21, 2006. Bridget will be missed by her pit bull dog Panda. She was also preceded in death by her father, and one sister, Toni Lynn Gibson. Survivors include mother Katherine Cedartree; sons and daughter-in-law Tyler Hicks & Betty Gallegos of Prague, Frank Hicks of Prague, Randal Lee Hicks of Marlow; daughter Darla Jean Violett of Oklahoma City; brothers & sisters-in-laws Edward Cedartree, Jr., of Prague, Glen & Patti Gibson of Tecumseh, Cornilus 'Corny' Cedartree of Oklahoma City, Tommy Gibson of Konawa, sisters Ellen Ward of Prague, Marsha Ann Cedartree of Konawa, Tonette George of Ada; grandchildren Kaleb Violett and Jacob Violett; nieces & nephews Norman R. Island Jr. of Oklahoma City, Angela Island of Oklahoma City, Kelly Anderson and Anthony Acosta of Midwest City, Stoney Island and Stevie Saunders of Prague, Axel Cedartree of Tulsa, Ella Cedaltree of Tulsa. Great nieces & nephewsDrew and Danelle Isand; and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May7, 2009 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Prague with Ed George officiating.
