Bradley J. Mitchell

Bradley J. Mitchell, 24 of Newalla, OK, was born on October 8, 1982 in Shawnee, OK. He was the son of Bryan Jeffery & Mindy Lea Michael Mitchell. Brad died in his sleep on Monday morning, November 27, 2006 while visiting relatives in Oelwein, Iowa. Brad was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in McLoud, OK, where he was baptized and served as an altar person. He graduated from McLoud High School in 2001. Brad was employed at Convergy?s Customer Call Center in Moore, OK. He enjoyed comic books, Star Wars, superhero?s, sci-fi movies and his favorite hobby was reading. Brad was in Drama Club in high school where he was the first to qualify for State in Debate and enjoyed theatre, participating in plays at Rose State College. He loved to debate about politics or anything he felt strongly about. Brad was preceded in death by his great grandparents. Survivors include his parents, Bryan & Mindy Mitchell, Newalla, OK; 1 sister, Mariah Mitchell, Newalla, OK; maternal grandparents, Allen & Lou Michael, McLoud, OK; paternal grandparents, Bill & Pat Mitchell, Shawnee, OK; maternal great grandmother, Agnes Michael, Oelwein, IA; maternal uncle & aunts, Tyler & Christal Michael, Huntley, IL, Michelle Michael, Shawnee, OK; paternal uncle & aunt, Billy Jack & Lola Mitchell, Shawnee, OK and many other relatives and friends. A wake service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2006 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, McLoud, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2006 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, McLoud, OK, with Father Eugene Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
