Meeker, Oklahoma, resident, Bonnie Morphew, was born on August 8, 1930, in Cushing, Oklahoma, and departed this life on November 3, 2005, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years. Bonnie was the daughter of Alexander Sandy and Inza Inez Potts Johnston. She married Enoch Luther Morphew on July 11, 1946, in Winfield, Kansas. They moved to Meeker in 1958. She lived there most of her live. Bonnie was a homemaker and a very loving and giving mother and grandmother. Her parents; husband; one son, Samuel Alexander Morphew; one grandson, Douglas Morphew; two brothers; and four sisters preceded Bonnie in death. Survivors include, Daughter & son-in-law, Joyce & Ron Edmonson of Meeker, Son & daughter-in-law, John & Jamie Morphew of Meeker, Grandchildren & spouses, Rhonda & Darren Raines of Paden, Kerri & Troy Perkins of Meeker, Charity Edmonson of Meeker, Tami & B.J. Cordell of Seminole, Robert & Danielle Morphew of Newalla, Chris Morphew of Midwest City, Michelle & Scott Van Eck of OKC, Melissa & Chuck Johnson of Ada, 17 great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends.
