Bob Don Crowder was born in Carney, Oklahoma on July 25, 1953 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the age of 58 years. Bob was the son of Donald Lee and Effie Delora (Butler) Crowder. Bob was a resident of Milfay, Oklahoma. Bob graduated from Chandler High School in 1971 and loved to play football. He was selected All State defencesive tackle in 1971. He was in the United State Army National Guard for 10 years. He married Barbara Trousdale in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on September 13, 1975. Bob loved his music and loved to sing. He loved to get on facebook and visit with his friends. He owned and operated Crowder Communication in Stroud, Oklahoma and also was a grader operator for Lincoln County. He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Stroud, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survivors include, Wife, Barbara of the home, Two Sons & Daughter in Laws, Rick and Brenda Crabtree of Houston, TX, Todd and Mary Crabtree of Houston, TX, Best Friend, Dude, Two Sister, Linda Silvis of Cleveland, OK, Brenda Caruthers of Stroud, OK, Three Grandchildren, Heather Boykin, Erin Crabtree, and Haylie Crabtree, Six Great Grandchildren, Others relatives and many friends. Memorial Mass service will be held at the St. Louis Catholic Church on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Father James Mickus officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
