Bob Dean Tremain

Bobby Dean "Bob" Tremain, a long time resident of Meeker, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 89. Bob was born on July 29, 1932 in Enid, Oklahoma. He was the son of Homer and Louise Tremain. Bob grew up in Enid, completing most of his school career in Enid. He moved with his family to Oklahoma City as teenager. He graduated from Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City. Bob married Sadie Tremain in 1951 and the two made their home in Oklahoma City, then Wellston and then finally to their farm in Meeker. After high school, Bob proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force. After serving in the Air Force, Bob worked for many years as an electrician at Tinker Air Force Base, focusing on B-52 Bombers. Following his retirement from Tinker in 1971, Bob found his true passion of farming. He enjoyed taking care of the animals and growing hay. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sadie Tremain; his daughter, Laurel Wolfe; two brothers, Tom Tremain and Dale Tremain and three sisters, Velma Havin, Delma Waters and Glenda Haynes. He is survived by two sons, Ronald D. Tremain and his wife, Dayna, of Choctaw, and Donald D. Tremain and his wife, Helen, of Canadian; one daughter, Susan Eychaner of Choctaw; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren.
