Birdess "Bert" Gerald Cole

Birdess 'Bert' Gerald Cole, age 76, of Harrah, OK, was born on August 15, 1939, in Romulus, Michigan. He was the son of Birdess W. & Lillian (Arey) Cole. He left this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, in Oklahoma City, OK. Bert married Deanna Bierman on June 13, 1959, in Romulus, Michigan. He retired from the Ford Motor Company where he was a factory worker. Bert was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, McLoud, OK. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering and watching TV, especially Fox News and preachers. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Chuck & Jim, 5 sisters, Helen, Charlotte, Evelyn, Ethel & Ruth. Survivors include his wife, Deanna Cole, Harrah, OK; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Dawn Marie & David Frantz, Brownstown, MI, Robyn Lee & Al Nix, Harrah, OK, Tami Jo & Ray Theaker, Indianapolis, IN; 2 brothers, Bill Cole, Taylor, MI, Bruce Cole, Trenton, MI; 6 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Memorials in the memory of Bert Cole may be made to Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800, for the Gideon Memorial Bible program. Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Hillside Baptist Church, McLoud, OK, with Rev. Tuney Ropp officiating.
