Billy Ray Roe

Billy Ray Roe was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on February 5, 1931 and departed this life at his home in Bristow, Oklahoma on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Billy was the son of W. E. and Vivian (Boles) Roe. He was a resident of Bristow. He served in the United States Army and worked for Midland Refinery Cushing, OK. as a yields clerk. When the refinery shut down, he went to work for Big Creek Rural Water District as a manger. He married Marie Quick in Wirt, OK on October 13, 1956. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include, Two sons, Johnny Roe and wife Shelby of Blanchard, Harold Roe of Norman, one daughter, Louise Gordon and husband Eldon, three brothers, Bob Roe of Stroud, Jack Roe of Burleson, TX., and Jim Roe of Cushing, nine grandchildren, Dominique Hogan, Brandon Gordon, Josh Roe, Katie Gordon, Jon Roe, Jake Roe, Kelbie Roe, Hannah Roe and Gracy Roe, five great grandchildren, Allee Gordon, Jaden Oldham, Austin Martz, Kamren Oldham and Zoey Roe, other relatives and many friends. Celebration of Life will be held at the Agra Gymnasium on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
