Bill Mendenhall

Bill Mendenhall was born on January 8, 1934, in Colcord, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at his home in Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years. Bill, was the son of Burlie Lee and Ruth Creed Mendenhall. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Bill married Winifred Hanke on March 3, 1956, in Oklahoma City. He was a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma. Bill worked as an Oklahoma Highway Patrolman for 29 years. His parents and one sister preceded Bill in death. Survivors include, Wife, Winnie of the home, Daughters, Jerri Toumbs of Chandler, OK, Deborah Currid of Chandler, OK, Brothers, Ralph Mendenhall of Tennessee, Carl Wilbanks of Eufaula, OK, Sister, Wanda Coffee of Oklahoma City, OK, Four grandchildren, Two great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends.
