Betty Wood

Betty Mae Wood was born on October 20, 1944, in Inglewood, California, and departed this life on Monday, November 23, 2009, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 65. Betty, the daughter of Ray and Georgia Adelee (Williams) Hart, was a resident of Prague. She worked for Community Action and was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Prague Freewill Baptist Church. Her parents and one sister preceded Betty in death. Survivors include sons, Don R. Wood, Jr., of Chandler, Evan Wood of Oklahoma City, Jim Wood of Oklahoma City; daughter, Christina Chipp of Grass Valley, CA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Teddy Allen of Kingsburg, CA, JoNell and Ron McClellan of CA, Linda J. Adams of CA; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
