Betty Louise Sheets, 68, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away on December 25, 2020. She was born on June 16, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Marshall Lee and Nelly Letha (Shepherd) Walker. Seventeen years ago, she met the love of her life, Jim Sheets and the two have been together since. The two dated for many years until their marriage on November 16, 2019. Betty was a talented singer and loved to entertain anyone who would listen. She and her husband, Jim, spent many weekends entertaining others with their versions of classic country music. The two hosted barn dances on their family farm at least twice a year and it was an event many looked forward to and enjoyed. When Betty wasn't singing, she enjoyed cooking, traveling and visiting her brothers and sisters. She loved to shop and spoil her kids and grandkids. She was an avid Oklahoma City Thunder fan and never missed a game. After growing up in the city, she embraced the ranch lifestyle and loved living on the ranch. She was a hard worker and made sure everything was tended to and taken care of. Each December, She and Jim would travel to Tipton, Oklahoma to visit the Tipton Children's Home. The two would take cases of snacks and candies for the children to enjoy. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Sheets; her children, Tabitha Forsyth, Royce Stinnett, Rickey Stinnett and his wife Sabrina, Jimmie Sheets II and his wife Tina and Clay Sheets; her brothers/sisters, Marshall Walker, Roberta King and Bobby William. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
