Betty Louise (Ellison) Moses

Betty Louise (Ellison) Moses, 'Scrappy,' a long-time resident of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, in Prague at the age of 76. She was born on May 10, 1936 in Prague. Betty was the daughter of Barry and Lola (Shrieves) Ellison. She was raised in Prague and attended Prague Public Schools where she graduated in 1954. Betty married Rayborn Moses on July 1, 1954. She was a retired florist and hairdresser. She loved antiques, playing cards, playing solitaire on the computer, her dog Buddy, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald B. Ellison. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Rayborn Moses of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Raelene and Danny Swink of Prague, Rhonda and Rick Reno of Prague; son, Rick Moses of Oklahoma City; 6 Grandchildren; 9 Great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters and their spouses, Gene and Joyce Ellison of Prague, Maxine Dukes of Prague, Wayne Ellison of Houston, TX, Barbara Holland of Shawnee, Ray and Sharon Ellison of Prague, Wayne and Linda Wilson of Shawnee Archie and Connie Wiatrek of San Antonio, TX; numerous extended family members and friends. The Moses family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon, June 3, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Viewing will be only at the funeral home. The casket will be closed at the church. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM, at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
