Betty Lee Hunter Deaton was reunited with our heavenly father and her oldest daughter, Tammi on September 30, 2012. We lost the most amazing wife, mother, grandma, best friend, loyal and faithful servant to the Lord. Everyone that knew her loved her and wanted to be around her positive, bubbly personality. She was full of laughter and found the joy in everything. She impacted many lives here on earth and didn't realize it. She talked to strangers all the time as if they were her friends. She greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and hello. She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, family and friends. We know the Lord is over joyed to have such a precious soul come home, as He is saying 'well done my good and faithful servant.' Her crown of jewels will be abundant. We as her children are so blessed to call her 'mother'. We love you so much and will miss you everyday of our lives. Betty was born April 20, 1935, in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Midwest City High School in 1955 then married Mitchell Deaton, March l, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Roy and Myrtle May Hunter, her daughter, Tammi, brother, James Hunter, sisters, Pauline Norton and Wanda Herring. She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Deaton and her three children, Michele, Michael and Cheryl and daughter-in-law, TJ. Her four grandchildren, Joshua, Jayden, Hunter and Addy.
