Betty L Robertson

Betty L. Robertson was born in Harper, Kansas on September 2, 1927, and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the age of 87 years. Betty was the daughter of John Edward and Clara Myrtle (Howell) Barker. She was a resident of Stroud most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud, and she was the Owner & Operator of the Fireside Inn Restaurant. She married William 'Bill' C. Robertson in Clovis, New Mexico on May 14, 1955. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Hatsumi Robertson of Tulsa; two brothers, Dennis Barker of Attica, Kansas and Larry Barker of Scottsdale, Arizona; four grandchildren, Gary Robertson, Cande Rials, Robert Robertson and Jason Robertson; four great-grandchildren; other friends and relatives. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. at the Stroud First Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, with Pastor James Bond officiating. Burial will follow at the Davenport Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
