Betty Jo Mckey-Williams

Betty Jo McKey-Williams, age 85, of Edmond, OK, was born January 1, 1927, in Ravia, OK. She was the daughter of Freland & Mazie (Quinten) Allen. She left this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2012, in Oklahoma City, OK. Betty was a member of the Moore Seventh Day Adventist Church, the Lions Club in Tishomingo, OK, and the AFLCIO Union. She worked for Wonder Bread Bakery for over twenty years. Betty loved and was a strong supporter of country music and she enjoyed sewing & quilting. She never met a stranger and had the gift of helping others. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clarence McKey and 21 siblings. Survivors include 3 sons & daughters-in-law, Sherman & Michele McKey, Edmond, OK, Clarence, Jr. & Renee McKey, Rapid City, SD, Melvin & Jeannie McKey, Corpus Christi, TX; sister, Yvonna Beam, Newalla, OK; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Dr. Duane McKey officiating. Interment will follow at Carney Cemetery, Carney, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
