Betty Jo Jackson

Betty Jo Jackson, age 76, of Harrah, OK, was born on September 26, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of Clarence & Daisy Beaver Murchison. She left this life on September 1, 2007 in Oklahoma City, OK. Betty was a homemaker, interior decorator and at one time owned an antique shop. She resided in the Towers in Shawnee for the past two years, where she was involved in starting the ?Welcome Wagon?, and was the entertainment coordinator. Betty had many friends at the Towers and around the entire area. She enjoyed garage sales, bingo, sewing and collecting depression glass. Betty was a great supervisor of her family, and was known to have a kind and loving heart. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom Jackson, one son Buck Roberts and one brother Jerrell Murchison. She is Survived by 3 children Trona & husband Mac McKnight of Harrah, Stan Roberts of Harrah and Linda & husband Royce Ramey of Harrah, 2 sisters Margie Johnson of Edmond, OK and Barbara Cotter of Earlsboro, OK, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
