Betty Ann Morgan

Betty Ann Morgan was born in Chandler, Oklahoma on January 3, 1935 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the at of 76 years. Betty was the daughter of M. D. and Bertha (Getman) Boland. Betty was a resident of Stroud area most of her life. Betty graduated from Stroud High School in 1952. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Stroud, Oklahoma, member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Stroud, Oklahoma and was a homemaker. Her favorite things to do was to read, sit on her back porch and loved her grandchildren. She married Elmer Ray Morgan in Oklahoma City on February 14, 1959. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Shirley and two brothers, Jim and Dale. Survivors include, Two Sons & daughter in law, Kenny &Gayla Morgan of Duncan, OK, Jeff Morgan of Stroud, OK, One Daughter, Marsha Morgan of Stroud, OK, One Brother, Jay Boland of Kimberling City, MO, One Sister, Marla Bond & husband Earl of Stroud, OK, Four Grandchildren, Keri Croy & husband Lute, Melissa Silva & husband Carlos, Kristin Morgan and Brandon Morgan, One Great Granddaughter, Addison Silva, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Stroud, Oklahoma at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 22, 2011 with Loren Gieger officiating. Burial will be in the Kendrick Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma. Memorial may be made to Stroud Habitat, Stroud, Oklahoma.
