Betty Adele Brown

Betty Adele Brown was born in Denver, CO on November 19, 1925 and departed this life in Stroud, OK on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Betty was the daughter of Ross Calvin Sr. and Vera Roxy (Warren) Shields. Betty was resident of Stroud, Oklahoma. She worked as a waitress for Ruby Drive In. She married Earnest Ray Brown in Stroud, Oklahoma on January 1947. He preceded her in death on October 1975. She was also preceded in death Parents, One Grandson, Terry Jr., Three Brothers and Three Sisters. Survivors include Two Sons & daughter in law, Terry & Marilyn Brown of Sparks, OK, Ray Lynn Brown of Tulsa, OK; One Brother, Richard Shields of Oklahoma City, OK; One Sister, Barbara Beavers of Stroud, OK; Two Grandchildren, Tracee Delk of Yukon, OK, Tammy Houston of Prague, OK; Seven Great Grandchildren, Kasey & Kelly Brown of Sparks, OK, Emilee , Jacob & Hanah Delk of Yukon, Brandon & Amber Rice of Prague, OK; Others relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brother Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
