Bettie Joyce Davenport Harrison

Bettie Joyce Davenport Harrison was born on April 19, 1930, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2016, in Stratford, Oklahoma, at the age of 86. Bettie, the daughter of Johnie and Emma (Allbright) Coker, was a resident of Stratford. Bettie married Leslie Lee Davenport on April 19, 1945 in Prague, after Mr. Davenport's death, she married Garvin Harrison on May 23, 2009 at the Okemah Lake. Bettie worked for several years as a seamstress at Wrangler and she also worked as a home heath caregiver. She loved to fish and to garden. Bettie's parents, husbands, one grandson, Donovon Davenport and one sister, Frankie Mae Wright preceded her in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Sabrina Davenport of Paden; daughter and son-in-law Linda and David Perry of Chelsea, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; sister Vinita Crist of Reno, Nevada and many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro Terry Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
