Bettie Jean Boughen

Bettie Jean Boughen, Harrah, OK, age 81, was born on September 13, 1929, in Harrah, OK. She was the daughter of Frank & Rose (Gordell) Benedix. She left this life on Monday, June 13, 2011, in Midwest City, OK. Bettie loved to work in the garden and go to the casino and play bingo. She enjoyed her family and loved her grandchildren. Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Boughen, three brothers, Pete, Junior and Jim and one sister, Juanita. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Frank E. (Boots) & LaVina Boughen, Harrah, OK; 2 grandsons, Brandon W. & Casi Boughen, Amarillo, TX, Darren E. Boughen, Harrah, OK; 1 great-grandson, Xander Coy Boughen and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2011, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
