Beth Dryden

Beth Dryden, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born April 25, 1964, in Hobart, Oklahoma, and departed this life January 11, 2017, at her home in Chandler, at the age of 52 years. Beth was born the daughter of Leroy and Dana (Scrudder) Merritt. She married Tony Dryden on April 19, 1985, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Beth worked as a payroll clerk at National American Insurance for many years, then worked for the City of Chandler. Survivors include, her husband Tony Dryden of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Chase Niemann of Stroud, Oklahoma; one son and daughter-in-law, Chase and Jennifer Dryden of Chandler; father and step mother, Leroy and Brenda Merritt of Carnegie, Oklahoma; mother and step-father, Dana and Butch Rudder of Anadarko, Oklahoma; one brother, Shaun Merritt of California; two sisters, Diana Headrick of Burns Flat, Oklahoma, and Dawn Torres of Florida; four grandchildren, Alyce, Avery, Jaselyn, and Bohdi; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Cole officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
