Bessie Lillie Walters

Bessie Lillie Walters was born on August 16, 1920, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, January 10, 2008, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 87. Bessie, the daughter of Frank and Minnie H. Duzi Rubac, was a resident of Prague. She married Charles Otto 'Peachie' Walters on December 18, 1938, in Prague. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1966. Bessie retired from the Prague Hospital where she worked as an LPN. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Prague. Her parents also preceded Bessie in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Don and Kay Walters of Edmond; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mike Lang of Norman; grandchildren, Staci and Nathan Lockhart of Norman, Trey and Kylie Teape of Prague, Kelli and Landon Spence of Edmond, Shane and Penny Walters of Edmond; 9 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Lawrence Sykora of Edmond.
