Bessie Lee Pruett

Bessie Lee Pruett was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on October 2, 1938 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the age of 69 years. Bessie was the daughter of Estel and Thelma Brace Reed. Bessie was a resident of Stroud most of her life. She married Ray Pruett in 1954 in Oklahoma. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 1975, parents; 1 daughter; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. Survivors include, Five Nephews, Lloyd Ray Beaver of Stroud, OK, Charles Beaver of Ada, OK, Jessie Kilgore of Drumright, OK, James Kilgore of Chandler, OK, Earl Kilgore of Kendrick, OK, One Niece, Elsie Jordon of Chandler, OK, Several Great Nieces and Nephews, Other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held at the Stroud Cemetery on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Greg Jones officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
