Bertha May Mobley

Bertha May Mobley was born on January 30, 1913, in Keokuk, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, December 16, 2006, in Prague, OK, at the age of 93. Bertha, the daughter of Thomas Harold and Hattie Rose Davis Parsons, was a resident of Prague. She attended the VanZant School where she played basketball. She married Cecil Robert Mobley on October 15, 1940 in Prague. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1985. Bertha was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prague. Her parents; two brothers; two sisters; and one great-granddaughter, Brittany Mobley, also preceded Bertha in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jerald W. and Sue Mobley of Norman; grandsons, Kevin Mobley of Noble, Jeremy Mobley of Oklahoma City; great-grandson, Kevin Mobley, Jr., of Durant; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Doris Parsons of Seminole; sister-in-law, Ruth Parsons of Seminole; brother-in-law, Doyle Russell of Prague; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
