Bertha Beulah Lakins

Bertha Beulah Lakins was born on October 15, 1912, in Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, April 11, 2005, in Paden, at the age of 92. Bertha, the daughter of Andrew Michael and Rosa Angeline Whitely Brown, was a life-long resident of Paden. She married Samuel Archie Lakins on October 17, 1929 in Paden and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1990. Bertha was a homemaker and a member of the Burnett Mission Holiness Church. Her parents; 1 son, Archie Loyle Lakins; 2 daughters-in-law, Brenda Lakins and Carolyn Lakins; 1 son-in-law, Junior Collins; 5 sisters; 1 grandchild; and 3 great grandchildren also preceded Bertha in death. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle and Dorothy Lakins of Paden, James and Evelyn Lakins of Checotah, Bill Lakins of Paden, Ronnie and Racheal Lakins of Paden; daughters and sons-in-law, Goldie and Charles Sandoz of The Dalles, OR, Jewell Collins of Pawhuska, Lorene and John Kimsey of McLoud, Florene and John Garland of Paden, Lavonne and Howard Brown of Prague; daughter-in-law, Mattie Lakins of Shawnee; brothers, Cecil and Alta Brown of Prague, Morris and Katie Brown of Paden; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Sherman Clonts of Paden, Pauline and Lonnie Orr of Paden, Deloris and L.T.
